The public company Institut
Català d'Oncologia, submitted to the Generalitat of Catalonia
and member of the Servei Català de Salut is a public right
company with its own legal entity, and its business actions are
adjusted to private rights’ laws. Because of this:
The contracts with our
workers are of a labour type (not civil servants or statutory),
and under the principle of the stability in the occupation.
Our Trade Agreement is that of the
public utility hospitals Network (XHUP).
We have incorporated, as axes of
our human resources planning and motivation politics,
instruments of promotion and collective and individual
development, such as the professional career and the
variable salary.
The public offer of occupation respects
the principles of publicity, transparency, and equality
of opportunities, and the reserve of positions for handicapped
personnel. The DOGC is the habitual channel to publish
the permanent positions, without damage of the use of
complementary media to ensure the most efficient research
(corporate web of the ICO, other professional webs, written
press, etc.)
The selection of personnel is done
under the most adequate criterion of profile to the professional
competences determined for each position, and by means
of a collective organ of decision (examiner organ) in
which the Company Committee is also represented.
The non-permanent contracts (substitutions
and interims) are carried out by means of channels of
recruitment and various selection (job markets, Servei
català d'ocupació, covenants with educational
institutions, etc.)
