On Friday April 18th, coinciding with the Sant Jordi celebration, books will be signed at the new hall of the ICO in Hospitalet. This will take place between 12.00 and 13.00 hours and will feature, among others:
Jordi Coca, author, among others, of the works L’emperador (The Emperor), Sota la pols (Under the Dust), La noia del ball (The girl at the ball), La japonesa (The Japanese Woman) or Sorres blanques (White Sand). He has received the Sant Jordi award, the Critics award of Serra D’or, the Ciutat de Barcelona novel award, the Carlemany and the Joanot Martorell awards.
Ramon Casals, pedagogist and teacher, is the author of the book 100 preguntes que ens fem els pares (100 questions that parents ask ourselves) which, according to the publisher, has no other intention but to be a bunch of useful ideas to help bringing up children.
Pilar Senpau has a degree in medicine and surgery and is a specialist in dietetics. She has written several books on this matter, such as Aprendre a aprimar-se (Learning how to lose weight) and Fruits de la vida. Fruites i verdures per ser feliç (The fruits of life. Fruits and vegetables to be happy).
Albert Jovell, chairman of the ‘Foro Español de Pacientes’ (Spanish Forum of Patients) and director of the Library Foundation Josep Laporte. He has written, among others, Càncer: biografia d’una supervivencia (Cancer: Biography of a Survival), La confiança (Confidence) and Lideratge afectiu (Affective Leadership).
