The President of the Generalitat, José Montilla, oponed last Monday the remodelling works of the Duran i Reynals Hospital, see of  ICO in Hospitalet.

Montilla was accompanied by the ‘consellera’* of Health, Ms.Marina Geli, the Mayor of Hospitalet de Llobregat, Mr.Celestino Corbacho, the rector of the University of Barcelona, Mr.Màrius Rubiralta, and by the chairman and managing director of ICO, Mr.Ramon López, among other relevant people.

The retinue visited the new laboratories of epigenetics, the Service of Radiation-therapy Oncology, the new entrance, the outdoors facilities and the new public parking lot. Afterwards, there was a meeting with the professionals of ICO to learn about the reality of assistance. Finally, in the Assembly Hall, there was an opening ceremony for the remodelling works in which Ms.Marina Geli, Mr.Celestino Corbacho and president Montilla participated.
