Albert Tuca, Professional Excellence Award
The College of Doctors awards the medical coordinator of Palliative Cares of ICO in l’Hospitalet

The Official College of Doctors of Barcelona (COMB) gives Albert Tuca one of the Awards to Professional Excellence 2006, within the category "Other assistance fields". These awards are given within the celebrations of the centennial of Santiago Ramón y Cajal’s Nobel Award (1906). Albert Tuca is the medical coordinator of the Palliative Cares Service at ICO in Hospitalet.
Besides, Elvira Méndez, who was the coordinator of the ‘Catalan Network of Smoke-free Hospitals’ until last July, will also receive an award of the ‘Humanities’ category.
The ceremony will take place on Wednesday, November the 8th. At 19.00 h. In at the ‘Sala de Actos del COMB’ (Paseo de la Bonanova,47).
